Video presentations (e.g., commercials, news, educational programs) 7. Information from subjects they are studying or have studied in school

When students exhibit Intermediate Mid writing ability in Spanish, they can:

1. Write short, simple communications, compositions, and requests for information about personal preferences, daily routines, common events, and other personal topics 2. Demonstrate control of basic sentence structures and verb forms usually in the present tense 3. Produce writing that resembles oral discourse with discrete sentences that are loosely strung together and little evidence of deliberate organization
