Repeated Read of the phrased text from identified selection 3-5 min

• Reread text using the Tell, Ask, Start again strategy. Build fluency with rate, accuracy and expression. • Evaluate on the last read using the fluency expression rubric. (Paired reads done again in practice stations) • Narrative Retell: What happened first, what happened next. . . Or • Informational Retell: What is the passage about, what is one thing learned? What else did you learn? • Discuss the main idea in the text using the Academic Discussion Cards • Summarize using a Four Square
