• Display the lyrics to the song. Have children identify letters or words. • Have children find rhyming words in the song. Example: See the zebra, black and white, it is eating grass, all right. A kangaroo goes hop, hop, hop. Oh, when will it ever stop? • Play or read the song, and stop where there should be a rhyming word. Have children say the word that is missing. Listen to the song again to clarify their answers.
