Introduction

Begin class with a warm up procedure: ● Begin class with your warm up procedure of laps, stretching, etc. ● Back at Home Base, review rules/expectations of the school and PE/Playworks with explicit examples when appropriate. ● Review any other specific reminders needed for the day. Before releasing students for the first game, use a Sequence Touch to get them to the location you need them to be for the first activity. ● Students will start at one end line and you will stand either at half court or the other end line with a hula hoop by your feet and the small object inside the hula hoop. ● Students will attempt to move towards you while you are turned around (or your eyes are covered) and say “One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish!”. Once you complete that sentence, open your eyes and see who you can catch moving. ● If you see a student move from their frozen position, send that student back to their endline to begin again. Repeat the saying again, allowing students to move closer and closer to you each round. ● Once students are close enough, they will take your object and try to return it back to their own endline while still needing to freeze when you finish your saying. ● When you open your eyes and notice the object is gone, you will guess who has it. Students will remain frozen while you say a name, they will One Fish, Two Fish
