Building Leadership Team (BLT) The BLT oversees the implementation of school-wide initiatives, allocates resources effectively, and monitors progress toward academic and behavioral goals, monitors progress of SST intervention plans. The BLT also coordinates with PLCs to ensure alignment of school-wide priorities with the instructional practices in classrooms. Grade Level/Content/Department Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) PLCs share best practices, analyze student data, discuss student progress, identify trends or areas needing improvement, and integrate curriculum. PLCs also determine instructional strategies tailored to meet students’ diverse learning needs, ensure continuity and coherence in student learning experiences, and implement interventions or enrichment activities as needed to ensure student mastery of standards across grade level or content. Student Support Team (SST) The SST collaborates to develop personalized intervention plans for students facing significant academic, behavioral, or social-emotional challenges. SSTs identify barriers to learning, implement targeted interventions, and monitor implementation fidelity and student progress to ensure that each student receives the support needed to thrive academically and socially. This school-based tiered teaming structure fosters a collaborative culture where educators work together at multiple levels to problem-solve, innovate, and provide holistic support to ensure success for all students.
