Language Functions & Features: ■ Opening statements to explain the purpose and function of the Internet, World Wide Web, search engines, and communication tools. ■ Verbs to describe digital communication and online processes (e.g., search, browse, navigate, communicate, retrieve, organize, collaborate, evaluate, send, receive). ■ Expanded noun groups to define internet concepts, communication methods, websites, search results, and digital files. ■ Sequencing language to explain how information travels across the Internet and the steps involved in effective online communication. ■ Adjectives and adverbs to describe website reliability, communication effectiveness, search efficiency, and file organization.
