Organisms in Ecosystems

communicate like a scientist.

Success Criteria: I know I am successful when I use the words consumer, producer, and decomposer to explain the direction of energy transfer among organisms. I am learning about food chains and food webs so that I can explain how the path that energy and nutrients follow. Success Criteria: I will know I am successful when I can read a diagram and write a paragraph about how food chains and food webs function. I am learning how to think like a Wildlife Conservationist so that I can know the importance of maintaining the natural balance of food chains and food webs within ecosystems. Success Criteria: I’ll know when I have learned it when I can write an informative paragraph on why deciding to help conserve wildlife an important yet diffcult decision to act on, by presenting evidence to support my point of view. I am learning how the food that animals eat was once energy from the sun by describing the transfer of energy through an ecosystem.
