Part 2: Completing Mid-year Student Growth Reflection At mid-year, teachers reflect on student growth in relation to their Student Growth Goals and adjust their instruction accordingly. • District-wide Standards-Based Assessment (or common formative assessment) data are used to monitor student growth. • Teachers reflect on the academic growth of their students to date and their planned instructional adjustments to ensure students are making adequate progress to obtain mastery. Step 1: A teacher’s previously identified Student Growth Goal will auto -populate in this section of the template. My data indicate that these students are struggling with the following essential skills… • In order to increase the likelihood that all students meet end-of-course/year learning goals, I will adjust my instruction in the following ways (detail the changes you will make in scaffolding or instruction)… Part 3: Completing End-of-year Student Growth Reflection At the end of the year, teachers again reflect on student growth in relation to their Student Growth Goals and consider their instructional adjustments. • District-wide Standards-Based Assessment (or common formative assessment) data are used to monitor student growth. • Teachers reflect on their students’ growth to date to ensure students are making adequate progress to obtain mastery.
