Express opinions about a topic or text, with at least one supporting reason, using a combination of drawing, dictating, and writing. ALL learners, specifcally multilingual students will have an opinion that ● Expresses ○ Like and dislikes on familiar topics, such as food and games ○ Emotions stemming from personal experiences ○ Opinions about issues from their own lives
LANGUAGE EXPECTATIONS
● Student Tasks from the Reading Writing Companion (RWC) ● Respond to Reading (RWC) ● Team created Common Formative Assessments (CFA) ● Oral response using Speaking and Listening Standards (SL)
