take several steps back. ● Run up to the ball and kick it with accuracy towards the goal. ● No matter if they make it or miss it, they will retrieve the ball and bring it back to the next student in line and go to the end of their own team's line. ● Students will continue kicking the ball one at a time until everyone has gone several times. ● Students may offer to be goalies for the student that goes after them. 4th Grade Modification ● Students will dribble the ball from their spot in the line up to another cone closer to the goal, where they will strike the ball (top of the foot, shoelaces, etc.) into the goal. 5th Grade Modification ● Similar to 4th grade, have students dribble side to side instead of straight towards the goal before shooting. Review how to strike or shoot a ball. ● Aiming for the center of the ball, students should contact the ball with the laces (or tops) of their shoes. Before returning to Home Base, make sure the students who have the soccer ball return it back to you.

● You will break students up into two teams, having them line up behind cones set up at half court. Set up a larger goal with two cones against thewall. ● Scatter poly spots across the gym floor, majority of them closer to the goal with some challenging spots further away. ● On your “Go Word”, the first student on each team will dribble a soccer ball towards a spot and shoot at the goal. If they make the goal, they retrieve the ball and take the poly spot back to their team's line. ● The next student will dribble the ball and shoot from another spot. If they miss the goal, they will retrieve the ball and leave the spot on the ground. ● If two players arrive at the same spot at the same time, they will use RSB to see who will go first. ● Play until all the poly spots have been collected and reset the game.
