Social Benefits: Actions from others that improve someone's life. When playing games with each other, we receive lots of social benefits.

Introduction

Begin class with a warm up procedure: ● You’ll be teaching outside for this activity (unless you have poles in your gym). Adjust your warm up routine and Home Base accordingly. ● Back at Home Base, review rules/expectations of the school and

PE/Playworks with explicit examples when appropriate. ● Review any other specific reminders needed for the day.

Before releasing students for the first game, use a Sequence Touch to get them to the location you need them to be for the first activity.

Frisbee Mania

Show How How to Play:

● Split students up into four teams, each starting in a corner of the gym behind a tall cone. Each student will be given a number based on their order (number 1, 2, 3, etc.) ● In the center of the square is a bowling pin standing inside a hula hoop, which students are trying to knock down with their frisbees. ● You will call out a number ( Number 4! ) and the student with that number on each team in line will throw their frisbee, trying to knock
