Have students revisit their CER worksheet and add new info. (Optional: Can tell them they can use CER on the test so to be thorough.) Explain that Groundwater fows underground and dissolves carbonic acid leaving large underground caves. These caves sometimes collapse causing sinkholes. Then have students do a fnal rewrite of the CER (Optional: Remind students to write down detailed evidence because they will be using this as a note sheet for the test. Test will include specifc multiple choice questions about things not covered in CER and an essay question asking students to answer the CER question: What causes sinkholes to form?)
