Diagnostic Assessment at the Winter benchmark does not have to be re-administered. If testing is necessary, continue from the last skill the student mastered. Ideally the skills should be checked off after the culminating (day 5) lesson. ● Considerations when deciding to re-administer the diagnostic at mid-year:

○ Will giving the diagnostic tell me more about the student or do I need to continue to teach? ○ Does the instructor know where the student is due to assessment along the way (Day 5)? ■ Consider using the identified skill from Form C as post assessment to determine mastery.
