Drama Works: Director’s Chair

K-5th I am learning blocking directions and stage terms so I can use the areas of the stage appropriately. I’ll know I have it when I can move to different areas of the stage on command. I am learning about puppetry so I can create and perform with puppets. I’ll know I have it when I perform a puppet play with original puppets. I am learning how to make a puppet to show a character or concept theatrically. I’ll know I have it when I’ve designed and created an original puppet. I am learning how to make a mask to show a character or concept theatrically. I’ll know I have it when I’ve designed and created an original mask. 2nd-5th I am learning about sound effects to incorporate sound into a scene. I will know I have it when I work with a group to add sounds in an improvised scene. 2nd-5th I’m learning to see items creatively so I can develop the eye of an artistic designer.
