Choice - when you get to pick or decide between different options. Choices are all about having the opportunity to select what you want WELCOME & ACTIVATE BACKGROUND KNOWLEDGE Greet students warmly at the library door. Follow opening procedures to prepare students for learning. Activity: This or That Say: We are going to play a game. I am going to show you a picture of two objects and you have to choose which one you like better. We will do this in small groups. When it is your group's turn, if you like the one I hold in my right hand [raise your hand], quickly and quietly move to the right side of the room [show the specific spot]. If you like the one I hold in my left hand [raise your left hand], quickly and quietly move to the left side of the room [show specific spot]. If you don’t like either thing, that’s fine! Just stay in the middle. If it gets too rambunctious or loud, we will have to stop playing the game. Be respectful of each other’s bodies!
