Evident • Student attention and engagement is maintained through most of the observation due to appropriate pacing of instruction. AND • There is evidence of some student frustration or inattention due to pacing being too fast or too slow (refer to tally of off-task/downtime in Behavior Coding for guidance). Partially Evident • Student attention and engagement is not maintained throughout the observation – due to pacing of instruction being too fast or too slow. OR • There is evidence of frequent student frustration or inattention due to pacing being too fast or too slow throughout the lesson (refer to tally of off-task/downtime in Behavior Coding for guidance).
