○ Use closed captioning for online videos ○ Use screen readers such as Microsoft Immersive Reader ● Limit the amount of scrolling students need to do in order to view the content on a page and/or assessment. ● Embed content on pages and assignments if possible. This eliminates the need for students to leave Canvas. ● When using images try to use images that refect real people and diversity. ● Be aware of the contrast in text color and background color. Some students may not be able to see certain colors. ● Use consistent and appropriate fonts, colors, and text sizes. ● Embed videos vs uploading them to a Canvas page, assignment, etc.
