Learning Intentions: ●​ To write narrative texts that develop real or imagined experiences or events. ●​ To use effective techniques and well-structured event sequences in narrative writing. ●​ To engage and orient the reader by describing a problem, situation, or observation. ●​ To introduce a setting, narrator, and/or characters effectively. ●​ To apply narrative techniques, such as dialogue and description, to develop characters and event sequences. ●​ To utilize descriptive language to create a mood and tone appropriate to the purpose, task, and audience. ●​ To use appropriate conventions and style for the audience, purpose, and task.
