I am learning to gather information about the signs of a chemical change so that I can identify physical and chemical changes. Success Criteria: I’ll know that I have learned it when I can support my claim with evidence to identify physical and chemical changes. Learning Intention: I am learning how a chemist is someone who researches the properties of chemical substances so that I can study a diagram and think like a chemist. Success Criteria: I’ll know that I have learned it when I can draw a labeled diagram of a closed system that will show the conservation of mass. Learning Intention: I am learning how to explain what I know about physical and chemical changes so that I can give examples of these changes. Success Criteria: I’ll know that I have learned it when I can write a summary or draw a diagram of what can happen when materials are mixed. Additionally, use pg. 33 “Chemical Change” activity as an exit ticket for understanding of identifying examples of chemical changes.
