LEARNING PROGRESSIONS
● Identify and explain budget priorities. ● Identify and analyze potential budget priorities that individuals might have on the following levels: ○ Local level ○ State level ○ Tribal level ○ Federal level ● Select one of the above levels and as a class and come to a consensus on the budget priorities for that level. ● Model how an individual could share their budget priorities with an appropriate stakeholder for that chosen level. ● Task students to choose a government level to propose and defend budget priorities and to share their fndings with an appropriate stakeholder. Examples from each level may include:
○ Local level - local government offcials and local businesses ○ State level - state legislators and the Governor's offce ○ Tribal level - tribal council members and tribal government agencies ○ Federal level - federal agencies and congressional representatives
