Attendance Intervention Hierarchy of Support If attendance is a concern and a consideration for exiting the literacy, please provide information and documentation of how the attendance issue was addressed.
Example Hierarchy of Supports for Attendance Intervention
1. Teacher has a private conversation with the student to discuss attendance concerns and make a plan with the student to improve attendance 2. Teacher email(s) parents to inform and include them in the plan 3. Teacher calls parents if the email(s) were not responded to or the issue persists 4. Teacher documents a referral to that student’s assistant principal so they can follow up with the student and family
