Attendance Intervention Hierarchy of Support If attendance is a concern and a consideration for exiting the literacy, please provide information and documentation of how the attendance issue was addressed.

Example Hierarchy of Supports for Attendance Intervention

1. ​ Teacher has a private conversation with the student to discuss attendance concerns and make a plan with the student to improve attendance 2. ​ Teacher email(s) parents to inform and include them in the plan 3. ​ Teacher calls parents if the email(s) were not responded to or the issue persists 4. ​ Teacher documents a referral to that student’s assistant principal so they can follow up with the student and family ​
