Overview This curriculum map provides guidance for planning instruction using the Utah Core Standards and the Read 180 curriculum. Read 180 is a comprehensive, blended learning solution proven to accelerate the literacy levels of students. Blended Learning Model The blended learning model combines adaptive technology that targets individual needs with teacher guided state-of-the-art, face-to-face classroom learning in comprehension and writing. Blended learning balances the role of teachers and technology so that each can effectively do what they do best. Flexible Rotation Read 180 features a flexible rotation model designed to help teachers address students at all levels of intervention. This model organizes class time to provide a balance of teacher-led instruction, scaffolded practice, and small-group interaction. It is designed to maximize instruction time and accelerate achievement. READ 180 supports educators as they guide students to become confident, capable readers. Program Details Read 180 is a 3 stage program. Stage A (elementary school), Stage B (Middle School), and Stage C (High School). Each stage has 6 Workshops and 6 REACH Workshops.
