Appendix F – Review Request of CTESS SOR
After receiving the Review Request of CTESS SOR, the Director of Human Resources will notify the Administrator of Evaluation so that the Review Request process can begin based upon Policy 400.31.
1) The Administrator of Evaluation will contact an outside Independent Reviewer (policy 400.31).
2) The outside Independent Reviewer will have access including, but not limited to, the following documents: a. CTESS Manual b. CSD Policy 400.31
c. Review Request of CTESS SOR submitted by educator d. Evaluator’s Response to Review Request of CTESS SOR
e. Relevant evaluation documents; i.e. IPOPs, Checklists, Instructional Quality Rating (IQR), Stakeholder Input Rating (SIR), Student Growth Rating (SGR), Summative Overall Rating (SOR)
3) The Independent Reviewer will make findings and recommendations regarding the educator’s Summative Overall Rating (SOR).
4) The Director of Human Resources or Administrator of Evaluation will send a copy of the Independent Reviewer’s Findings and Recommendations to all relevant parties, e.g. educator, evaluator, association representative. 5) If needed, the Administrator of Evaluation, in conjunction with Human Resources, will create and send an implementation plan based upon the Independent Reviewer’s recommendations to a ll relevant parties, e.g. educator, evaluator, association representative.
While reviewing all relevant documents, all involved parties will take measures to protect the confidentiality of the educator.
