DIGITAL TEACHING AND LEARNING ESSENTIAL VOCABULARY
Instruction and learning experiences are the same as blended learning, but the physical space is solely online and the instruction is adapted to fit that format. Technology is used with intention and there is a seamless connection between online and offline instruction. Blended learning provides opportunities to allow students to use technology have control over path, place and pace. a pedagogical model in which the typical lecture and homework elements of a course are reversed. Short video lectures are viewed by students at home before the class session, while in-class time is devoted to exercises, projects, or discussions. Instruction and learning experiences that either don't use technology at all or technology that is not being leveraged intentionally. What the teacher does with technology - incorporating electronic and online media as well as traditional face-to-face instructional strategies.

The four levels of this model represent how integrated technology is into a curriculum, from Substituting non-technical tools with technical ones, Augmenting existing tasks with technology, Modifying existing tasks with technology, to Redefining tasks using technology in ways that were previously inconceivable.
