 Draw models to compare, and reason, about the size of products in relationships to the size of various factors.  Use area models to demonstrate the concept of scaling  Construct viable arguments and critique the reasoning of others about the size of a product compared to the size of one factor on the basis of the size of the other factor.  Use models and/or words to explain why multiplying a given number by a fraction greater than one results in a product greater than the given number  Use models and/or words to explain why multiplying a given number by a fraction less than one results in a product smaller than the given number  Work with multiplying by unit fractions

3 4 7 is less than 7 because 7 is multiplied by a factor less
