● If tagged a third time, they will put their hands in the air, leave the game to the “hospital” to get healed. To get back into the game, students must do a movement-based consequence, like squats, push-ups, or jumping jacks. The can re-enter the game ● If students run outside of the boundaries, have them add a “band aid” as if they were tagged. Choose three students to help model the rotation of getting tagged, putting on band aids, and going to the “hospital” to get back into the game. While playing, pause the game and model what happens when two taggers tag at the same time(RSB). The less successful student will get a band aid. Ask the following:? ● How challenging was it to not get tagged? ● Find your pulse on your neck or chest…what is your heart doing? ● Where can we play this game during recess? Stations ● Split students up into groups based on stations with even numbers for partners, assigning each group to a station. ● Stations can consist of: ○ Bowling Pins or Paddles and Balloons (practice striking) ○ Beach Balls (Bubbles activity) Change up the movement (skipping, running, hopping) to challenge them.

Practice andPlay
Review what each station looks like with a student who can help model each station.
Depending on time and skill level, limit stations or make groups larger so they are able to get through all of the stations. Play music to “start” stations, pausing it to stop and rotate the groups. ● If you don’t have music, identify a “Go Word” and “Stop Word” to help students know when to begin the exercise and when to rotate.
Debrief
Ask the following: ● Which stations were most challenging? ● Why should we do things that feel hard?
