Show How How to Play:
● Have students spread out within the playing area. ● The goal is to see how many “volleys” they can get (as individuals or in small groups). ● Encourage them to use their hands, open palms above their head, and to hit it up towards the ceiling. ● Keep track and see if they can break the “school record” for their grade. Our kinder school record is 10! Can this group beat that? Review how to stay safe in this game ● If each student has a balloon, tell them to keep spread out from others. If their balloon travels too far, remind them to keep an eye out for others. ● If they are working in small groups, use cones to mark off areas they can stall within. Make sure they: ○ Call for the ball, saying “I got it!”
