Description

At the end of each grade level’s units is a list of novels that are commonly taught and approved for that grade level. This list does not include all approved novels, only the approved novels teachers indicated using as of the 2023-2024 school year.

APPROVED, COMMONLY TAUGHT NOVELS BY GRADE LEVEL

Dates have been updated for the DWSBA assessments. The frst DWSBA will not be on the RISE Platform as the RISE platform will not be refective of current state ELA standards at the time of administration.

BENCHMARKS AND COMMON FORMATIVE ASSESSMENTS

This section has been overhauled to refect current research. It also includes links to learn more and for resources in how to implement each.
