Purposeful communication: Tell and ask questions using the following terms and language functions and features:

DIFFERENTIATION IN ACTION

● Talk about hobbies with friends ( 唱歌,跳舞,打球,吃饭,看电影,买东西 ...) ● Talk about what you like to do on different days of the week. ● Participate in conversations regarding routine activities (eg. describe what hobbies you enjoy, comment on how well an action is performed, tell when and where an activity takes place) ● Narrate a series of events related to your own hobbies. ● Talk about how long something lasts. ● Talk about doing more than one thing at a time. ● Name what sports/activities which are popular in different countries ● Talk about inviting others to do things together. ● Arrange a time to do something together ( 我要请你吃饭 / 看电影 ...) ● Read short notes with a friend introducing yourself, age, year in school, birthday, how many are in your family, who they are and what they do, and their hobbies. ● Describe how an action is performed. ● Engage the student in more student-teacher conversation in Chinese aside from regularly planned activities or group the student with other advanced learners who are ready for more challenging dialog. ● Write short notes to exchange with a pen pal introducing yourself, age, year in school, birthday, how many are in your family, who they are and what they do, and their hobbies.
