1. Student can accurately read grade-level text. 2. Student can read with fuency (around 180-210 words per minute). 3. Student can comprehend what they are reading through: a. Understanding vocabulary. b. Using background knowledge to make connections. c. Understand when they need to look for more information outside of the text to build knowledge. 4. Read grade-level text independently with accuracy, fuency, and comprehension.
