○ Students participate in safety walkthroughs—either real or simulated—where they identify potential hazards (e.g., choking risks, unsafe furniture, access to chemicals). ○ Teachers guide the activity using checklists, scenario prompts, and reflection debriefs, reinforcing hazard recognition and prevention strategies. ○ Students engage with age-appropriate video clips or case studies to explore types of abuse (physical, emotional, sexual, neglect) and mandated reporting responsibilities. ○ Teachers facilitate guided discussions, comprehension questions, and ethical reasoning activities, encouraging sensitive, informed reflection on complex topics. ○ Students examine various discipline strategies using role-playing scenarios, discussion groups, or T-charts to evaluate effectiveness, developmental appropriateness, and long-term outcomes. ○ Teachers provide evidence-based frameworks and facilitate structured debates or Socratic seminars.
