CSD Wonders Integration: Bodies in Motion Silhouettes

I am learning about silhouettes and body movement so I can create a silhouette that shows motion. I'll have it when I can trace a partner “freezing” their body in motion. ELA & Dance Integration I am learning parts of maps so I can communicate information about a physical space through a drawing. I'll have it when I create and label an overhead view map of a room. ELA & Social Studies Integration I am learning about parts of insects and artistic glyphs so I can communicate information through art. I'll have it when I can draw a glyph that represents the parts of an insect. ELA & Science Integration I am learning pointillism, place value, and collaboration techniques so I can use these skills to create artwork. I'll have it when I work with others to create a pointillistic fish mural. Math Integration I am learning about rubbings and coins so I can practice using types of coins. I'll have it when I create crayon rubbing cards of three types of coins to trade and exchange. ELA & Math Integration I am learning about the night sky and scratchboards so I can create art that shows constellations. I'll have it when I create a scratchboard based on my knowledge of stars and constellations. ELA & Science Integration I am learning to create a 3D paper sculpture and do multiplication using arrays, so I can represent an array in art. I'll have it when I can create a sculpture of a city using accurate arrays. Math Integration I am learning to use descriptive language to create an image. I'll have it when I use tiles to create an image of a flying contraption inspired by the descriptive language of a poem. ELA Integration I am learning about being a good citizen and collaborative artwork so I can create art to contribute to my community. I'll have it whe n I create a “quilt” patch using construction paper. ELA & Social Studies Integration
