Review sublocations. Say: Hands on your head! What are sublocations and how do they help us find books? [Responses] Right! You will notice that all of our chapter books have the call number F, but they are also grouped by sublocation. You will need both the call number and sublocation to find the book. Optional Step 4: Read Aloud If time remains, read aloud a picture book or first few pages of a chapter book. Show students the call number on the book and in the catalog record.

Remind students of rules for the library computers during borrowing time.

Dismiss for circulation.

READER’S ADVISORY, CIRCULATION PROCEDURES, & DISMISSAL 3rd - 5th grade may borrow two books. Best practice is that students only be allowed to borrow one graphic novel at a time.
