Traditional Literature Why do we tell fables?

Fable - a short story that usually features animals who talk and act like people, and it always teaches a lesson or moral at the end Moral - the lesson that story teaches about how to behave in the world

Character - a person, animal, or creature in a story

Problem - the main challenge or obstacle that the character in the story needs to overcome, which moves the story and allows the character to learn or grow by finding a solution Setting - where and when a story or event takes place
