Inquiry - the process of asking questions and exploring them to learn and discover new things Research - the process and method of collecting and analyzing information to answer a question Question - a clear, concise, and open-ended wonder that centers your research Problem - a specific gap in existing knowledge that you want to fill through your research Search term - The words you use to describe the main ideas of your research question in a search engine or database. Search terms can be one word or multiple words.
