Case Study 5: Emma and the Pop-Up Choices

Story: Emma is watching a cool animal video when a pop-up says, “Win a puppy! Just enter your name and email!” She knows it might be fake, so she doesn’t click. A few minutes later, another pop-up appears that says, “See more animal videos!” and she clicks it. The video site starts showing ads with strange messages and loud music. She closes the window but doesn’t tell anyone.
