Use household and classroom materials to complete your project. ○​ **If you did not teach the material in Extension Project 3, you may want to revisit the video and picture resources available within that project to assist students in cloud typing. ○​ This lesson includes Utah Third-Grade Visual Arts Standard 3.V.CR.4: Individually or collaboratively construct representations, diagrams, or maps of places that are part of everyday life ○​ Possible Materials: ●​ Construction Paper in Various Colors ●​ Butcher Paper in Various Colors ●​ Markers, Colored Pencils, or Crayons ●​ Paint and Paintbrushes ●​ Felt or Fabric ●​ Cotton Balls or Cotton Rounds ●​ School Glue or Glue Sticks ●​ Child-sized Scissors

Other Extension Projects:

●​ Design a Sustainable Community: Students create a plan for a human settlement that preserves the local ecosystem. ●​ Write a Persuasive Letter: Students write to a local leader or park ranger advocating to protect a specific species or natural area in Utah.
