Language Functions & Features: ■ Verbs to describe productivity processes (e.g., create, organize, edit, collaborate, format, calculate, schedule, analyze, present, share). ■ Expanded noun groups to define digital documents, spreadsheets, presentations, calendars, and file management concepts. ■ Sequencing language to explain workflows for creating, organizing, saving, sharing, and collaborating on digital files. ■ Comparative language to evaluate productivity applications and determine the most appropriate digital tool for a specific task. Performance Skill : Students will create a digital file management system that organizes their created artifacts to keep a record of learning experiences throughout the course.

●​ Model productivity tools through guided demonstrations before transitioning students to independent creation and collaboration activities. ●​ Provide templates, graphic organizers, and guided practice for Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, and file management activities. ●​ Scaffold productivity projects using checklists, teacher conferencing, and collaborative learning opportunities. ●​ Design a multi-application project that integrates Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Calendar to solve a real-world organizational or planning problem. ●​ Evaluate multiple productivity tools and justify which application is best suited for different academic, personal, or workplace tasks. ●​ Provide visual guides, labeled screenshots, vocabulary supports, and step-by-step instructions for productivity applications. ●​ Use sentence frames,Gimme 5, photo gallery, or collaborative posters when breaking down technical uses of productivity programs. 6th Grade: Pacing may need to be adjusted to accommodate less familiarity with the programs.
