Connecting Representations: Support students as they make connections between place-value blocks and place-value patterns in multiples of 10 in the Visual Learning Bridge for letton 2-3 b asking them to model multiples of 10 with base ten blocks and explain the pattern. Model with Math: Convince Me in Lesson 2-6 (pg. 62) has students model the math using a given number line. Pose the question without the number lines and have students show all the different ways the math could be represented.

STEM Project: Motion Patterns
Strand: Force Affects Motion Standard 3.3.2: Analyze and interpret data from observations and measurements of an object’s motion to identify patterns in its motion that can be used to predict future motion. Examples of motion with a predictable pattern could include a child swinging on a swing or a ball rolling down a ramp.
