By the end of Unit 9, students will be able to: ● Find the correlation coeffcient and interpret the meaning in context using correct math vocabulary such as: ○ correlation, causation ● Find the equation of the line of regression and explain what each number means in context ● Find the mean, median, and mode for different data sets and then compare the spread and center of the data and interpret what that mean using correct math vocabulary such as: ○ Center (of a data set), skewed distribution, spread of a di stributi on, symmetric distribution, uniform distribution, variability, standard deviation SCAFFOLDING IN ACTION
