By the end of Unit 9, students will be able to: ● Know the differences between different types of sample surveys ● Know how to use a normal curve to fnd probability ● Know the differences beaten the different types of ways to gather data from a population ● Understand bias ● Use data to draw conclusions and evaluate conclusions made by others using correct math vocabulary such as: ○ Margin of error, strong evidence, intervals, sample, central limit theorem, sampling distribution ● Calculate margin of error
HONORS: ● understand and use n! in calculations
● calculate probabilities using the permutation formula ● calculate probabilities using the combination formula SCAFFOLDING IN ACTION
