○ LI: I am solidifying my understanding of function transformations so that I can apply function transformation across all function types. ○ SC: I can sketch the graph of a parent function and the graph of a transformed function on the same set of axis. ● Lesson 8.2: You Are the Imagineer - Develop Understanding ○ LI: I am developing my understanding of adding or multiplying functions from different function families so that I can predict and examine the effect it will have on their graphs. ○ SC: I can add and multiply functions from different function families and then graph the output. ● Lesson 8.3: The Bungee Jump Simulator - Solidify Understanding ○ LI: I am solidifying my understanding of adding or multiplying functions from different function families so that I can analyze the features of the graphs produced. ○ SC: I can compare and contrast the graphs of functions that have either been added or multiplied. ● HONORS Lesson 8.4: Composing and Decomposing - Develop Understanding ○ LI: I am developing my understanding of function composition so that I can define a new type of operation for functions. ○ SC: I can find the composition of two functions. ● HONORS Lesson 8.5: Translating my Composition - Solidify Understanding ○ LI: I am solidifying my understanding of composition of functions so that I can write the composition of two or more functions as a single rule. ○ SC: I can write composite functions. ● HONORS Lesson 8.6: Different Combinations - Practice Understanding ○ LI: I am practicing my understanding of functions so that I can combine functions that are defined graphically, numerically, or algebraically using addition, multiplication, or composition. ○ SC: I can find the original functions of a composed function.
