By the end of Unit 7, students will be able to: ● identify components of trigonometric functions using correct math vocabulary such as: ○ amplitude, phase shift, vertical shift, period ● graph trigonometric functions ● use the unit circle to fnd tangent values for angles ● use the ratio of a trigonometric function to fnd the value of another trigonometric function

● use trigonometric ratios to verify the Pythagoeran Identity ● use the Pythagorean Identity to fnd trigonometric values ● use trigonometric functions to model contextual problems ● understand the relationship between the graphs of sine and cosine

HONORS: ● use the Double Angle Identity to identify key features of a function in any form ● use the Angle Sum Identity to fnd the sine/cosine of a new angle SCAFFOLDING IN ACTION
