STAFF CHECKOUT PROTOCOL • If you need to leave anytime during contract hours (including lunch), you must check out and back in with our Attendance Secretary. • Sign out and back in using the “Teacher Check Out” binder in the attendance office. • We need to know who is absent/present just in case there was ever a situation (such as a lock down, fire drill, or if we need to find you for any reason). STUDENT RECOGNITION PROGRAMS Citizenship – Brave and Honorable Knights are recognized for five or six “H” per grading term. One “S” is allowed but no “N” or “U” categories are allowed. Goblets of Goodness – Goblets of Goodness tickets are given to students by staff in recognition of the student displaying the characteristics of PRROS: Prepared, Respectful, Responsible, On Time, and Safe while in school. Students may drop their ticket in one of four boxes in the attendance office for a chance at: • Daily Drawing – choice of candy bar or other treat • Weekly Drawing – choice of treat • Monthly Drawing – $20 Amazon gift card • Term Drawing – $50 Amazon gift card Honor Roll – Merlin’s Masters are recognized for GPA 3.5 – 4.0 Knight of the Day – beginning the first school day in September, staff members are assigned a date to write comments for one boy and one girl. Staff comments will be printed on a Knight certificate for each child and read on announcements. Each child receives their certificate, an Albion t-shirt, and a few other Albion goodies. Noble Knights October January March May – School-wide Awards/Honors NJHS Students whose cumulative GPA is 3.75 – 4.0 and citizenship marks contain no Ns or Us are invited to join National Junior Honor Society. Students must maintain their GPS, citizenship, and perform community service requirements to remain in good standing.
