● 2 potted plants, same type and age ● Lighted area 24 hours if possible ● Dark area ● Student Worksheet

students observe two healthy potted plants and have them predict what would happen to one of the plants if it did not receive any light for a week. Conduct an experiment to test their class predictions. Keep the temperature and the amount of water constant.
