● Students will be shown a reaction of the formation of Nylon (either a demo or a video) as an inquiry phenomenon. ● Show students the reactants (1,6 Hexanediamine and Sebacoyl Chloride) and have students observe and write as many physical properties as they can. The two substances superfcially appear the same. observations of the reaction and make inferences as to what is happening.
