●​ Gizmos - Mouse Genetics provides students a real-world example to see how we can selectively breed mice. ●​ Gizmos - Natural & Artificial Selection simulation can be utilized to show a real-word example of natural and artificial selection in bugs. ●​ Article- how artificial selection works with animals ●​ The purpose of dog breeds. Students could read about the purpose of dog breeds, and how each breed came to be. Students could then come up with a new “dog breed” that had traits that they defined as desirable.
