Success Criteria: I’ll know when I have learned it when I can identify biotic and abiotic factors within an ecosystem. I am learning about how invasive species affect the ecosystem and how animals in ecosystems depend on each other so that I can explain how plant and animal lives are interconnected. Success Criteria: I’ll know I have learned it when I can explain what happens in an ecosystem when an invasive species is introduced into the ecosystem, and how predators and prey affect other aspects of the ecosystem. I am learning how to think like an entomologist so that I can determine how an ant’s job contributes to the future survival of its species. Success Criteria: I’ll know I have learned it when I can discuss with my class how an ant’s job contributes to the future survival of its species.
