I’m learning that communication has changed over time so that I can understand more efficient methods of communication. Success Criteria: I can compare 3 types of communication devices and how they’ve changed over time. Instead of using this as an inquiry activity, we will be using it as an evaluation of the unit because it is more closely connected to the standard. Tell students that they have a secret message that they need to get across the room to another member of the class using only flashlights. Students will need to generate an alphabet code and then send their message via flashlight to another student todecode. Connect back to the phenomena and how information transfers. Learning Intention: I’m learning to use and develop a code so that I can transfer secret information across a classroom.
