Skill Building

Visual Representations: As students continue to build on the understanding of factors as numbers multiplied together to get a product, use visuals such as arrays and grids to help students see the connection and relationships between a number and its factors. Pick a Project 7C: Arranging Arrays. As an alternative, students could be challenged to find all possible arrangements for the displays and model their solutions on graph paper.
